Who is Bjørn Kienholz Bjercke

AKA Mr. Bitcoin Norway

I’ve spent decades securing financial systems and unraveling fraud. My cybersecurity work targets scams head-on. I helped unravel the $15.8 billion OneCoin fraud, featured in the BBC’s The Missing Cryptoqueen, Lie to Me documentary, and NRK’s Oppdatert, by spotting fake technology approaches and simple lies.

Auditing systems and advising law enforcement, I uncover vulnerabilities that fuel fraud, proving why Bitcoin’s transparent ledger is unmatched. My article “Why is Bitcoin Perfect Money?” (see my posts on Linkedin) breaks it down. Since diving into Bitcoin in 2013, I’ve seen it withstand every test, Bitcoin’s decentralized, fixed-supply design—unbroken with zero downtime since May 2013. Unlike other cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin’s store of value, network effect, and endurance stand alone.

At Regnskap Norge, I’m proud to educate accountants on Bitcoin’s role in accounting, compliance, and fraud prevention through webinars, articles, and conference talks across Europe. Featured in Nordic Fintech Magazine and Bitcoin Snakk podcast, and our in-house Regnskap Norge podden, I help Norway’s crypto-curious navigate a noisy space with clarity.
